Self tanner result

Ok girls.  I tried the self tanner combo I had written about.  I personally did not see anything great about the results.  I did have a few spots once it dried but the color did not seem any better than any other product.  So I suppose I am now on a quest to find the best tanner! Stay tuned in :)

Facial Routine

Ok ladies. Here is a helpful guide when putting on your facial routine. Follow these steps to ensure everything goes on smooth and you look your best! I do this routine everyday, except I don't use a serum/treatment. 

Foundations, powders, and blush...oh my!

Ok, so I don't know about you but I use face makeup (foundation, powder, blush...the whole shebang) e.v.e.r.y.d.a.y.
 So it is safe to say that I have tried almost everything out there. I have an extremely oily face. We're talking changing all of face makeup at least 3-4 times a day. Or, that's how many times I used to! If you have an oily face, try my combo. I promise you, it works wonders!

First, I use this face wash and the moisturizer that goes along with it:

Next, the BEST, longest lasting, oil absorbing foundation I have found:

 

If you can afford it, I have also found Estee Lauder's Double Wear foundation to be great (but I always go back to Revlon ColorStay).

 

Next, comes powder. And here's the BEST part. I have about 1 years worth of the best face powder I have ever used for about $4. I'm telling you. When I say I have tried everything, I mean I have tried EVERYTHING! Nothing ever really absorbed the oil. I found this recipe one day and decided I didn't have anything to lose by trying. I no longer use anything else. Ready for the ingredients?

Seriously. THAT'S IT! The amount of cocoa you put in depends on the shade you need.

For blush and bronzer (contour) I use Elf's duo (which only costs $3 at your local Target):

 

Last, apply your favorite highlighter. I haven't found a fave yet, but keep tuned it ;)

I hope you can benefit from this. I have been wearing makeup since I was about 14 years old. That was ____ years ago :). This is the best combo I have found.

 

Self-Tanner

So let's talk about self tanner. I recently canceled my membership with SunTan City. I was using their Versa Spa spray tan booth. For $50 a month, I think I'd rather stick with at home self-tanners. In the past I used  Loreal's Sublime Bronze spray. I used to have good luck with it, not so much lately for some reason. So I have done some pinterest digging, and have found what is claimed to be the best self-tanner for about $15. You use an even mixture of Banana Boat Summer Color Self Tanning Lotion and Loreal Sublime Bronze Lotion. I am going to be trying this and letting you know!
